Do I need a massage?

Whether you play regular sports and exercise frequently or lead a more sedentary life, massage can benefit you in many ways.

A massage can help resolve pains and strains, improve movement, decrease blood pressure, reduce stress, promote sporting performance and even improve sleep patterns. Whether you’re considering a massage to assist post-exercise recovery, soft tissue healing or would like to relieve the stresses and strains of modern life, we’re here to help.

Do I need a massage or osteopathy?

This can depend on numerous factors, however, osteopaths are better at dealing with:

  • Muscle tears that can cause you to struggle to move the limb or have a visible bruise / swelling.

  • An impact or non-impact injury that makes you feel unstable in a joint.

  • Nerve pain - shooting pain, burning pain, numbness, or pins and needles.

The above are examples, do contact if you want to speak to an osteopath for further clarification.
